The first-ever Workplace Violence Reduction Awards (WVRAs) finalists have now been revealed. The WVRAs recognise those who excel in reducing violence in all types of workplaces in any sector. These awards are designed to be both independent and inclusive, and they are open to anyone who excels at reducing workplace violence.
The awards are founded on strong ethical principles and are actively supported by numerous key industry bodies and special interest groups. These organisations nominate judges to represent them, including Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE), IFPO, National Association for Healthcare Security (NAHS), National Business Crime Centre (NBCC), Safer Business Network, Security Commonwealth, Security Industry Federation (SIF), Women’s Security Society, Association of University Chief Security Officers (AUCSO) and IAHSS.
This year’s WVRAs awards ceremony, proudly sponsored by Maybo, will take place on 8 April 2025 at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel. Co-located with The Safety and Security Series, the event will announce this year’s winners during a celebratory dinner, promising an evening of celebration and recognition for the outstanding performers in workplace violence reduction.
Andy Keast Foundation Chief Executive said, " We are delighted to have been named as one of the finalists in the 2025 Outstanding Training Initiative category. our sincere thanks extend to all the incredible people who made our VRU Summer Programme happen".
