The London Irish Foundation delivered its latest Project Rugby Festival at Grasshoppers RFC in Osterley, west London on 11th March.
The inclusive Festival, which was open to all schools across the west of the capital, was aimed at bringing together players who have taken part in the Project Rugby programme and support their transition to local community rugby clubs.
Over 70 year 8 and 9 students from BAME backgrounds took part in a series of Touch Rugby matches during the afternoon. Afterwards they took part in a question and answer session with players from the London Irish professional squad including Lovejoy Chawatama, Tarek Haffar and Matt Williams.
The Festival finished with the students having their photograph taken with the Gallagher Premiership Trophy.
