Statement issued by the London Irish Foundation on 8th June 2023
The London Irish Foundation is an independent, registered charity that is not part of London Irish Holdings that was placed into administration yesterday.
While the Foundation is proud of its association with the rugby club, its players, staff and supporters, the programmes it undertakes with community-based organisations such as local authorities, councils, businesses, schools, housing shelters and like-minded charities, are driven by related sources of finance and by the discretionary funds generated by the Foundation.
The Foundation will continue to operate as it has done for the past four years, delivering and developing existing projects and building new relationships within and without rugby that will enable it to continue its work in the communities it serves.
