Foundation supporters complete Fundraising FIREWALK

Fantastic supporters of the London Irish Foundation came together for a different type of fundraising event. What an evening to remember

Friday, 4th April 2025 – Under the glow of a dusky sky in Sunbury-on-Thames, 43 fearless walkers stepped up to face the heat—literally. United by courage and a shared purpose, alongside the Lighthouse Charity, they conquered their fears and walked barefoot across a blazing path of embers, leaving doubt and hesitation behind with every step.

It wasn’t just a walk—it was a roar of defiance, a spark of transformation, and a symbol of strength and solidarity with the Charities. The flames danced beneath them, but the fire in their hearts burned brighter.

This wasn’t just about walking on fire—it was about igniting a challenge.

What the Evening Included

• Firewalk Training with certified instructors who assisted in preparing the body and mind for the flames ahead.
• A professionally built fire bed, safety assured by experts and St John’s first aiders.
• A buzzing atmosphere of support, fun, and fearless energy.
• Food, drinks, camaraderie, and that unbeatable feeling of accomplishment.
• And, of course, a certificate of fire-walking triumph!

Every step taken across those glowing embers supported the London Irish Foundation in delivering life-changing initiatives. From grassroots sports to mental health and education programmes, your bravery fuels real-world impact.
