London Irish Foundation support ‘Kit out the Nation’!
London Irish Foundation, the charitable arm of London Irish RFC, are delighted to be supporting ‘Kit out the Nation’!
In a recent report, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee published data from Sport England which showed 100,000 fewer children met the recommended level of activity in 2020 than in 2019 and it was "of significant concern".
‘Kit out the Nation’ is designed to help provide sports equipment to children and young people who need it to get more active.
If you have good condition sports kit that you don't need, don't want any more or is simply lying around unused, you could HELP make a real difference to a young person's ability to access sport by donating.
We want to do our bit to help. From Saturday 4th September until Saturday 2nd October we are aiming to get kit and sports equipment to the schools and clubs where a young person may use it.
Together, we hope to help get the nation's young people more active.
